\"\"<\/a>The United Galaxies Of Virgo is basically a\u00a0Municipalist\u00a0Constitutional Republic, aka a form of representative democracy, although one of the governmental branches is a direct democracy counting votes over the galactic internet. The municipalist portion meaning that the local governments have the power but ultimately the real power lies in the hands of the sovereign citizen.\u00a0 Citizens are only beholden to the laws in the various Constitutions at each level of sovereign government.\u00a0 Each level of government is a sovereign state only beholden to the Constitution in the level above it.\u00a0 Each citizen is considered sovereign in the same way and held with the same respect.\u00a0 The land they own is also considered a sovereign state as well.<\/p>\n

The highest levels of government\u00a0have the most limited and shortest Constitutions.\u00a0 The Constitutions mainly outline the basic human rights everyone enjoys and laws to ensure harm comes to no human.\u00a0 The municipal or City-State level Constitutions have more specific laws.\u00a0 Other higher-level Constitutions may have specific laws dealing with their particular regions on a planet or in space.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The average citizen only has to deal with their local government if they so choose although this depends on whether they travel or not.\u00a0 Ultimately the higher levels of government are there to deal with the next higher level as well as protecting citizen rights in the vertical system of checks and balances.\u00a0 The levels of government starting from most powerful on down are:<\/p>\n

The horizontal system of checks and balances are the 5 branches of government that exist at each level of government.\u00a0 They are:<\/p>\n

The United Galaxies Of Virgo Constitution (Iron Clad & Very Specific)
\nSovereign Citizenship (Enforces The Laws Upon The Government & Guides The Government – Direct Democracy)
\nExecutive Branch (Enforces The Laws)
\nLegislative Branch (Makes The Laws)
\nJudicial Branch (Interprets The Laws)
\nAdministrative Branch (Maintains The Government)<\/p>\n

No level of government puts power in the hands of one or a small group of people.\u00a0 There are only figurehead spokespersons.\u00a0 For instance, the President Of The United Galaxies Of Virgo has no power what so ever.\u00a0 He or she merely makes speeches and acts as an Ambassador to other galactic nations.\u00a0 Additional clarifications and explanations of the various governmental levels will be explained here in the future.\u00a0 One additional note:\u00a0 Although Galaxy Fleet encompasses a wide variety of areas that touch everyone that does not mean they’re all dealing with the highest level of central government.\u00a0 For everyone’s protection against tyranny\u00a0Galaxy Fleet functions are controlled at the lowest levels of government except in times of war against the United Galaxies Of Virgo.\u00a0 War is plausible as there are other “nations” that exist within the Virgo Supercluster.\u00a0 The United Galaxies Of Virgo merely lies in one quadrant of the Virgo Supercluster.\u00a0 Some of these nations are friendly but others are not.<\/p>\n

Most are members of the Virgo Peace Counsel which is hosted by the neutral nation of Galacia, a small territory of only 5 galaxies.\u00a0 The Virgo Peace Counsel is somewhat like the United Nations but with no real power.\u00a0 It’s merely a place nations meet quarterly to discuss common issues and disputes between nations in the hopes of coming to a peaceful resolution.\u00a0 A race of corporatist cyborgs, ruled by a plutocratic system, known as the Cyborg Conglomerate has always refused to take part until recently as an extra-supercluster threat looms on the horizon.\u00a0\u00a0 A more powerful species of vicious cyborg thought to be a mix of man, animal, plant, and machine has recently been making incursion’s on the outer fringes of the Virgo Supercluster.\u00a0 They are thought to be from the Hydra-Centaurus Supercluster.\u00a0 Reports describe their ships as being a black sphere as big as a star.\u00a0 Some theorize it may be a traveling Dyson’s Sphere which would be an amazing feat to not only encapsulate a star but have the ability to move it over great expanses of space.\u00a0 Whatever their intentions we stand ready to defend our liberty and right to freedom as sentient beings in this Universe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
